culinary is ohsemmm!


assalamualaikum semua..
hari ni nk sembang topik serius skte ngn korg2 semua..
okay,basicly about this culinary arts la..
pd adik2 yg baru abis SPM & x taw nk aply kos ap,bce btl2 entry yg akak tulis ni ye..haaa~

AMARAN! ENTRY NI SGT PNJANG..RSE MLS NK BACA,SOKEY..PI MEN JAUH2..

well ap yg korg bayang kn ble sebut 'culinary' ni?

hotel? chef? food? same la sume tu..cuma culinary ni x semudah yg korg sangke..
what i mean is susa nk brjaya dlm bidang ni melain kn korg btl2 ad effort & minat..
bakat tu,2nd thing la..bakat kte bley asah slow2..x de hal..

okay..ble amik diploma, dlm 1 sem kami cume msuk kitchen 2 kali SAHAJA dlm seminggu..
the rest ktorg blaja mostly subject business la..
even subject bout culinary pun,1-2 subject je each sem..
so ap yg ak nk try smpai kn kt sni ialah,ble dorg amik kos ni,bkn nye hari2 dorg masuk kithcen blaja masak..NO!
just imagine,seminggu 2 kali je blaja msak..the rest is theory subject..
so x bnyk sbnrny yg ktorg blaja bout food ni..
melain kn student tu rajin bertany & jenis yg cpt blaja...

ble amik degree,baru la bnyk yg kami akn blaja bout food & less bout bsness subject..so mcm tu la..
sbb tu ble mber2 ckp

dan kdg2 mak pun ad ckp

''masak la ap yg ko da blaja kt yunibersiti tuuu..''

tidak kurang juga makcik2 di sebelah rumah dgn pndangan mereka

''untung la ko joyah ad ank blaja kt skola masak2..senang hidup!''

okay..1st,ble korg soh kwn2 korg yg amik kos culinary ni carving buah la,wt wedding cake la,ap la..then dorg x nk wt,pliz la jgn mara dorg..
mmg dorg ad blaja sume tu..tp x sume pndai wt bnd tu..
nk masak,sume pndai msak..but kalo x de skill,hampeh jgk..
another prob is dorg x confident ngn bakat & skill dorg..
ad yg malu2 nk tnjuk bkat,ad yg x yakin..tkot ape dorg wt x jd or hasil ny buruk..
so korg kne ingt & phm..ktorg bkn hari2 masuk kitchen blaja masak..
so korg x leh nk harap kn hasil yg perfect dri kami..okay.. :)

fakta..org yg paling kerap mkn kt luar (kdai mkn) ialah CHEF!
npe? sbab dorg da penat msak untu org lain,then dorg nk org lain plak msak untuk dorg lpas dorg blk keje..
sbb tu kdg2 bdk2 culinary ni mls nk msak kt umah..
so ble blk kg,ibu2, mkcik2 tu jgn la mngutuk ble kami bdk culinary ni x masuk dapur..ni pengalaman aku la..
aku training kt 1 hotel ni..mmg keje ak msak je..then aku blk kg cz cuti raya cina...ble mak aku suruh masak,ak rse jemu gila..
cz kt hotel da msak,then kt umah kne masak lg..penat!
tp x semua culinarian cm aku..mybe dorg rajin masak kt umah..mybe..

aku bkn nk merungut..but this is the fact..
bidang ni x semudah yg korg sngke..if korg x de minat & effort,better jgn la gatal2 nk masuk industri masak2 ni..
korg kne tahan maki..chef kt kitchen selalunye men cakap lepas je kt anak buah dy..pnah tgk HELL'S KITCHEN?
mcm tu la ktorg kne mse training & blaja..x de yg x same..mmg sebijik!
korg sanggup kne maki hari2? tahan? try la..huhu


dlm klas artistry,aku da pndai wt roses guna pastilage..

ni wedding cake yg group ak wt..simple,tp aku suka!

ni mse young entrepreneur day..pinal project aku dlm subject entrpreneur..ktorg jual Crepe..snack org French..hee :)

yg ni pun final project..ni hard dough..susa kot nk siap kn natang ni..


yg ni Pate..french food jgk..

tp yg best nye ble amik kos ni,peluang kerja sgt luas..
mse diploma je,kami blaja sume subject business..
law,account,marketing,management,cost control,mcm2 lg la..
tu baru diploma..degree lg bnyk blaja..
ble grad,if korg x nk jd chef,boleh bukak bisness..nk jd lect pun boleh..nk keje office pon boleh..tp kalo dpt jd chef lg ohsemm..gaji pun sedap..
just say it..antara nk dgn x nk je..

then knowledge kte bout food akn btambah..ini sgt ohsemm! :)
example,b4 amik kos ni ak men mkn ap yg aku suka..
ble da blaja bout food,ak taw kalori setiap mknan yg ak amik,aku taw ap yg digunakn untuk hasil kn satu2 mknan tu & mcm2 lg lah!
then secara tidak lgsung,skill masak akn jd lebih hebad!
sedap x sedap,blkg cte..basic knowledge da ade,sume bnd jd senang..
if korg ad skill,perghh..mmg boleh buat duit kott..
tau x org carving sebijik buah tu dorg bley cas smp RM150 untuk SEBIJI buah SAHAJA! yes..read my lips..RM150 per design..
untuk wedding cake,jgn cte la..fondant cake tu org bley jual bratus2 ringgit..

so kesimpulan nye,ad pro & con la if nk amik kos ni..
tp kebaikn nye lebih dri kburukan..siyez x tipu..hee
pd adik2 SPM,aply kos ni la..best..sgt enjoy tahu..
t korg kawen,carving,wedding cake sume bley wt sndri..jimat! hee~
